Learn How to Identify Projectile Points!
Do you like to collect arrowheads? Learn more about them by attending our lithic identification workshop on April 7 in Camdenton. This workshop hosted by Jack H. Ray will focus on the identification of 53 projectile point types found in Missouri and areas that border Missouri. Heat treatment, age range, geographic distribution, and general comments regarding each point type and look-alike specimens will also be discussed. You do not have to be an MAS member to attend.
The cost for this workshop will be $2 for students and MAS members and $5 for all other attendees. Attendees are encouraged to bring artifacts to be identified and/or for use in the class.
Please contact the MAS office for more information or to sign up for the workshop.
